Gautam Adani Supports B.Tech Student’s Kidney Transplant Amidst Financial Struggles

Anup Mishra, a 19-year-old B.Tech Cyber Security student from Ram Swaroop College in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, is battling end-stage chronic kidney disease. He is currently undergoing treatment at SGPGI Lucknow and is schedule to receive a kidney transplant. However, the financial burden of the transplant has become overwhelming for his family.

In a bid to alleviate Anup’s suffering, several social workers and journalists took to social media, appealing to Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, and the Adani Foundation for support. They highlighted the student’s dire medical condition and the urgent need for financial assistance to cover the expensive procedure.

Gautam Adani Steps In To Provide Support

Upon hearing about Anup’s case, Gautam Adani responded promptly, instructing the Adani Foundation to offer all possible assistance for the kidney transplant and to ensure Anup receives the best treatment available. This act of compassion is not the first time the renowned industrialist has extended help to those in need.

Gautam Adani has previously shown his commitment to humanitarian causes. He funded the treatment of Lovely, a girl from Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh, whose hands and legs had been deformed since childhood. He also supported the treatment of 4-year-old Manushree, who suffered from a heart defect, at PGI. These instances demonstrate the sensitivity and human approach that Adani, and the Adani Group, consistently exhibit.
