Adani Group Chairman, Gautam Adani, along with his wife, Priti Adani, paid a visit to the revered Ajmer Sharif Dargah, one of the holiest shrines in India.
The couple marked their visit to the shrine of Khwaja Garib Nawaz with deep reverence, offering a velvet chadar and floral tributes at the shrine.
This gesture symbolized their respect for the spiritual significance of the site, as well as their prayers for peace and prosperity for the nation.
Upon their arrival at the dargah, Khadim Salman Chishti, the shrine’s caretaker, warmly received the couple and welcomed them with a traditional safa, a ceremonial headgear.
Chishti then guided the Adani’s to the shrine’s sanctum, where Gautam Adani held a basket of flowers for the ziyarat, a spiritual visit to offer prayers.
The couple received tabarruk, a blessed offering, from the dargah as part of the sacred rituals.
This visit by Gautam and Priti Adani is being seen not only as a display of personal faith but also as a powerful symbol of religious harmony.
By visiting such a prominent religious site, the Adani’s have reinforced their belief in the importance of unity, irrespective of faith, while showing respect for the cultural and spiritual diversity of India.
