Gajendra Singh Shekhawat’s Cooking Session With IHM Pusa Students Goes Viral

A video featuring Union Minister and Jodhpur MP Gajendra Singh Shekhawat has gained significant attention across social media.

The clip shows the Minister interacting with students inside the training kitchen of the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM) Pusa in New Delhi.

During the visit, Shekhawat joined the aspiring chefs, learned cooking techniques, and prepared a dish alongside them.

The interaction highlighted the importance of practical learning and encouraged students pursuing careers in the hospitality sector.

After completing the dish, the students tasted it and appreciated its flavour. Smiling, they told the Minister that the preparation was good.

Responding with humour, Shekhawat joked that only the students knew whether the dish was genuinely delicious or whether they were simply boosting his confidence. His light-hearted remark drew smiles and created a friendly atmosphere in the kitchen.

The Minister spent time engaging with the students and observing their culinary skills during the practical session. He applauded their enthusiasm, discipline, and commitment to mastering the craft of professional cooking.

Shekhawat said the young chefs represent the future of India’s hospitality industry and expressed confidence in their ability to elevate the country’s global reputation in hospitality and tourism. He praised their passion, hard work and determination to excel in the profession.

The visit reflected the value of connecting experienced public leaders with students through hands-on learning experiences.

The viral video has received widespread appreciation on social media for showcasing an informal and encouraging interaction between the Minister and future hospitality professionals.

The initiative also highlighted the importance of skill-based education and inspired students to continue pursuing excellence in culinary arts.
