Future Leaders Emerge: Christ University Delhi NCR Hosts Grand 4th Convocation

In a jubilant celebration of academic accomplishment, Christ University’s Delhi NCR Campus hosted its 4th Convocation Ceremony, a momentous occasion that honored the graduation of 1010 students. The event, held on July 6, 2024, at the university campus in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, was graced by esteemed guests: Dr. Rajesh S Gokhale, Secretary of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, and Ms. Anjana Om Kashyap, Managing Editor of AajTak.

Amidst an atmosphere charged with pride and anticipation, the ceremony commenced with a grand procession and the resonating melody of the university anthem. Illuminating the stage, the ceremonial lighting of the lamp symbolized enlightenment and the commencement of a new phase for the graduates.

The occasion was marked by inspiring addresses from distinguished speakers. Fr. Varghese Vithayathil, Chancellor of CHRIST University, addressed the gathering, emphasizing the graduates’ pivotal role in shaping the future through knowledge and compassion. Dr. Fr. Joseph C.C., Vice Chancellor of the university, echoed these sentiments, urging graduates to embrace innovation and sustainability as pillars of their professional journeys.

Guest of Honor, Ms. Anjana Om Kashyap, lauded the university’s holistic approach to education, highlighting its impact on nurturing well-rounded individuals equipped for global challenges. Dr. Rajesh S Gokhale underscored the significance of leveraging knowledge for societal progress, urging graduates to harness their potential for the benefit of society.

The ceremony culminated with Chancellor Fr. Varghese Vithayathil conferring degrees upon the graduates, symbolizing their academic achievements and readiness to embark on diverse career paths.

Support and blessings were extended by Fr. Viju P. Devassy, Pro Vice Chancellor; Dr. Anil Joseph Pinto, Registrar; Johny Joseph, Registrar (Academics); and Fr. Jossy George, Director & Dean of CHRIST University, affirming the institution’s commitment to the success of its graduates.
