Foundation Stone Laid For Hanuman Temple Corridor In Prayagraj

In a significant development for religious tourism in Uttar Pradesh, the foundation stone for the highly anticipated Hanuman Temple Corridor laid today.

This ambitious project, with an estimated cost of Rs 38 crore, aims to enhance the infrastructure and facilities around the historic Bade Hanuman Temple, a revered site in Prayagraj.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath envisions the project and plans to execute it in two phases.

The first phase will focus on constructing the outer sections of the corridor, while the second phase will see the development of the sanctum sanctorum, scheduled to begin after the Maha Kumbh.

Designed with cutting-edge features, the new corridor promises to significantly improve the experience for devotees visiting the Bade Hanuman Temple.

The project will regulate access to the temple through QR codes, designating two large doors for entry and exit, along with ten smaller pathways.

The project will adorn the walls with engravings of Bajrangbali and set up a modern kitchen to prepare prasad.

Additionally, the corridor will offer a dedicated space for devotees to sit and worship.

Other amenities include a cloakroom, RO water facilities, and restrooms.

Meanwhile, to ensure the safety of visitors, a checking point guard room will be constructed, with security measures implemented at three levels.

The Bade Hanuman Temple, renowned for its reclining statue of Bajrangbali, is a unique and significant religious site.

Situated on the banks of the Sangam, it is one of the largest and most important temples in Prayagraj, drawing thousands of devotees daily.

The Hanuman Temple Corridor project promises to enhance both the spiritual and practical aspects of the temple experience, reflecting the commitment to improving religious tourism and visitor satisfaction in the region.
