Former President Ram Nath Kovind Unveils ‘Naye Bharat ka Samveda’ Book in New Delhi

On the 7th of December 2023, in New Delhi, former President of India, Ram Nath Kovind, officially launched the book titled “Naye Bharat ka Samveda.” This literary work is a compilation of speeches delivered by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, specifically centered around the Indian Constitution.

During his keynote address at the book launch event, Mr. Kovind articulated a profound sentiment, stating that a nation’s prosperity lies in the comprehensive understanding of its Constitution by each citizen. He went on to express that with ample constitutional knowledge, navigating various aspects of governance becomes significantly easier. Moreover, Kovind underscored the importance of citizens realizing that the framers of the constitution were deeply concerned about the welfare of every individual, particularly the most marginalized in society.

Turning his attention to the content of the book, Kovind highlighted that Prime Minister Modi consistently emphasizes the significance of the Constitution in his speeches. According to Kovind, Modi not only recalls the constitutional principles but ardently encourages citizens to deepen their understanding of it. The former President pointed out that, in Modi’s perspective, the Constitution of India stands as the singular guidebook for both the code of conduct and governance guidance for the government.

In essence, the book launch event and Mr. Kovind’s remarks underscored the pivotal role of constitutional awareness in fostering an informed citizenry and highlighted Prime Minister Modi’s advocacy for the Constitution as the moral compass for the nation.
