Five Terrorists Killed In An Encounter In Kupwara, J-K

Police stated that five foreign terrorists were killed in an encounter with security forces along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Friday.

The clash began early in the morning as security forces initiated an operation based on particular information in the Jumagund area near the LoC in the north Kashmir district.

Vijay Kumar, the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), in Kashmir, said “Five (05) foreign terrorists were killed in the encounter. A search is being conducted in the area”.

Kashmir Zone Police tweeted, “#KupwaraEncounterUpdate: Five (05) foreign #terrorists killed in #encounter. Search in the area is going on”, through its official Twitter handle.
