‘Fear vs Trust’: PM Narendra Modi Targets TMC In Poila Baisakh Letter

Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrote an open letter to the people of West Bengal on the occasion of Poila Baisakh, calling on voters to end what he described as an atmosphere of fear and usher in a new phase of governance.

Earlier, PM Modi extended greetings on social media, but in his detailed letter, he strongly criticised the Trinamool Congress government led by Mamata Banerjee, alleging prolonged misrule, corruption, and instability over the past 15 years. He said these conditions have harmed the dignity, rights, and cultural fabric of ordinary citizens and expressed deep concern over their hardships.

The Prime Minister asserted that a BJP-led government would prioritise employment generation, ensure women’s safety, and improve living conditions, including housing and food security for the poor. He stressed that better job opportunities within the state would reduce migration and support overall economic growth.

Describing the upcoming Assembly elections as a crucial moment, PM Modi said they offer a significant opportunity to guide the state towards development and prosperity.

Calling it a battle between fear and trust, the Prime Minister urged voters to make a decisive choice that would protect the state’s heritage and secure a better future for coming generations.

Appealing for active participation, he encouraged citizens to vote freely and contribute to building a ‘Developed West Bengal’.

Expressing confidence, the Prime Minister said he believes the people will place their trust in the BJP and support a new direction for the state’s progress.
