Fatal Collision on Ahmedabad-Vadodara Expressway Claims Ten Lives

In a tragic incident that was reported by the officials on Wednesday, ten individuals lost their lives while one was critically injured following a collision between a car and a trailer truck on the Ahmedabad-Vadodara Expressway.

The accident unfolded when the car veered into the rear of a trailer truck while traveling from Vadodara to Ahmedabad. Tragically, all ten occupants of the car perished in the collision, according to police statements.

Upon learning of the accident, emergency services dispatched two ambulances to the scene to transport the victims’ bodies to the hospital. Despite these efforts, eight individuals died instantly, while two succumbed to their injuries during transit to medical facilities.

The incident resulted in significant traffic congestion on the expressway, compounding the severity of the situation. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the accident, aiming to prevent such tragedies in the future.
