Enthusiastic Public Support Propels MLA Rajeshwar Singh’s Padyatra in Khushhalganj, Pledges Historic Victory for Kaushal Kishore

In a vibrant display of party solidarity, Sarojininagar assembly constituency was awash in saffron hues on Tuesday, as a multitude of party workers and local residents took part in the fifth day of the Sarojininagar Sankalp Padyatra. Led by their MLA, the procession commenced from Gram Panchayat Fatehganj and wound its way to Gram Panchayat Khushhal Ganj, covering a significant stretch with fervor and enthusiasm.

The Padyatra, which aimed to bolster support for BJP candidate Kaushal Kishore from the Mohanlalganj parliamentary constituency, was met with warm receptions at over 10 points along its route, with party workers and the community coming together to show their backing. Notable figures including BJP Legislative Council member Ramchandra Pradhan and senior leaders Rajesh Singh Chauhan, Shiv Shankar Singh Shankari, and Rama Shankar Tripathi, among others, lent their presence to the event, underscoring its significance.

Addressing a sizable gathering at the culmination of the Padyatra in Gram Panchayat Khushhalganj, Sarojininagar MLA Dr. Rajeshwar Singh took aim at the opposition, particularly on the issue of women’s safety. Dr. Singh criticized past regimes for what he termed as “appeasement politics,” highlighting the BJP’s commitment to women’s welfare and empowerment under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership.

Emphasizing legislative measures undertaken by the government, Dr. Rajeshwar Singh outlined stringent penalties for crimes against women, including provisions for severe punishment in cases of rape and concealment of identity in marriage. He also lauded the BJP government’s initiatives aimed at enhancing women’s economic independence, citing statistics such as the high proportion of Jan Dhan accounts and Mudra loans sanctioned for women, as well as the distribution of Ujjwala gas connections.

Drawing from BJP’s manifesto promises, Dr. Rajeshwar Singh pledged further empowerment measures, including plans to uplift millions more women economically, construct additional housing units, and provide essential amenities such as hostels and daycare facilities. Quoting a verse from the Manusmriti, he reinforced the government’s commitment to honoring and empowering women.

Throughout the Padyatra, a multitude of BJP functionaries and supporters lent their presence, demonstrating the party’s grassroots strength and unity. Their collective participation underscored the widespread support for the BJP’s vision and initiatives in Sarojininagar assembly constituency.
