The people of Delhi have delivered a resounding defeat to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), rejecting its false promises, corruption, and appeasement politics. In a historic turn of events, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) emerged victorious in the Delhi Assembly elections, ushering in a new era focused on development, good governance, and transparency.
The Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM) has praised this victory, describing it as a testament to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas’ policy.
MRM National Convener and Media In-charge, Shahid Sayeed, expressed that the people of Delhi had sent a clear message by rejecting the politics of appeasement. He said, “Delhi has awakened, and the people have chosen satisfaction over false promises. The AAP government turned Delhi into a hub of scams, leaving schools in disarray, hospitals in shambles, and basic services like water and electricity lacking.”
AAP’s History Of Scams And Corruption Exposed
Professor Shahid Akhtar, MRM’s National Convener and Educationist, referred to the election results as a revolutionary change for Delhi. He criticized AAP for deceiving the public with false promises about education, healthcare, and basic amenities. “While the Delhi government wasted crores on propaganda, government schools deteriorated further, and AAP’s so-called education model has now been exposed,” he stated.

AAP’s history of corruption and mismanagement came to light with the incarceration of several senior leaders. Among them are Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who is under investigation for his role in the liquor scam, and former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, who spent 17 months in jail over the same case. Additionally, former Health Minister Satyendar Jain remains incarcerated for money laundering, and other leaders such as Amanatullah Khan and Saurabh Bharadwaj are under investigation for various scams.
Despite these scandals, AAP failed to deliver tangible results. The much-touted Yamuna River cleaning project ended in a massive scam, while the Mohalla Clinics, meant to provide healthcare, proved to be a failure with inadequate facilities and medicines.
MRM Slams AAP For Exploiting Muslim Community
MRM National Convener Dr. Shalini Ali expressed relief at the end of AAP’s appeasement politics, especially for Muslim women. She recalled how Kejriwal’s government had worked against Muslim women’s rights during the Triple Talaq issue. “AAP played politics with the Muslim community but failed to empower women or address their real concerns,” she said.
Similarly, Mohammad Afzal, MRM’s National Convener, accused AAP of using the Muslim community as a vote bank without addressing their core issues. “AAP exploited mosques and madrasas to garner votes but neglected crucial reforms in education and employment for Muslims,” Afzal said.
Hafiz Sabreen, MRM’s Delhi State Convener, pointed out the deteriorating conditions in Muslim-majority areas of Delhi, where basic services like water, electricity, and sanitation were in poor condition. “The Kejriwal government made false promises in the name of appeasement, but the Muslim community saw no improvement in their lives,” he added.
A New Era Of Development And Governance Begins
The MRM has declared that the defeat of AAP marks the end of politics based on appeasement and false promises. Under AAP’s rule, Delhi was plagued by poor governance, mismanagement, and a lack of progress. Roads were full of potholes, waterlogging was a constant problem, and healthcare services were in shambles.
The so-called efforts to clean the Yamuna River turned into a massive scam, while basic public services like electricity and water supply continued to fail.
However, the people of Delhi have now chosen a path that focuses on transparency, development, and good governance. The MRM believes that this victory is not just for the BJP but for the people of Delhi, who have rejected appeasement politics in favor of genuine development.
As Delhi enters this new era, the focus will shift to education reforms, job creation, women’s empowerment, and infrastructure development. The people of Delhi have made it clear that they no longer want hollow promises but real progress that will uplift their lives.
