Elections Result LIVE: BJP-NDPP Alliance Leading In 24 Assembly Seats In Nagaland

The results of the Tripura assembly elections, along with those of Meghalaya and Nagaland, will announce today. The Bharatiya Janata Party is hoping to strengthen its hold in Tripur. Most exit polls predicted it would win in 2018, a Left-leaning stronghold that the party had previously taken over.

Tripura is one of these three states that have the most significant potential for national impact since the Left and the Congress, longtime foes, have united in confronting the BJP in the election for the state’s 60-member assembly.

Around 8 am, the counting of votes for Tripura, Meghalaya, and Nagaland states will start. On March 2nd, result trends will begin at 8 am, according to a notice on the Election Commission of India’s website. EVMs will be counted after postal ballots, which will be picked up for counting first. The election panel’s official website will be updated with the results.

Tripura conducted its three-cornered fight in the election polls on 23 February, with the CPI(M)-Congress combine and the Tipra Motha challenging the incumbent’s BJP’s bid to retain power.
