ED raids Congress candidate G Vivekananda’s premises, left BJP recently

ED has taken major action during the assembly elections in Telangana as it raided the premises of Congress candidate from Chennur Assembly, G Vivekananda. G.Vivekananda is the owner of news channel V6 Telugu. He was in BJP before Congress, but due to internal discord in the party, he resigned from the party. After this G. Vivekananda had joined the Congress Party. Congress chose him as his candidate from Chinnur seat in the assembly elections.

Former MP G. was in Congress for a long time. Vivekananda had joined KCR’s BRS in 2013, but he resigned from the Bharat Rashtra Samiti party after being upset over not getting a ticket in the assembly elections. After which he again joined Congress. However, he joined BRS after a few years.

Angered by KCR, he joined BJP when K Chandrashekhar Rao did not give him the ticket again in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, he became angry and joined BJP. While being in BJP, Mr. Vivekananda played an important role in Dubak in 2020 and Huzurabad by-elections in 2021, taking these two seats out of KCR’s grasp and putting them in BJP’s court.

But now once again G. Vivekananda had left BJP due to internal discord in the party. He submitted his resignation on 1 November 2023 to BJP State President G. Sent to Kishan Reddy. In which he wrote that he is doing this with a heavy heart.
