Dr. Rajeshwar Singh Hits Back At Former UP CM Akhilesh, Says “Those Who Live In Glass Houses Should Not Throw Stones”

Uttar Pradesh, the country’s largest state, is making steady progress. However, the verbal tussle between the ruling party and opposition leaders continues to draw public attention. Today, former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav raised questions about the current BJP government’s tenure, prompting Sarojininagar BJP MLA Dr. Rajeshwar Singh to respond sharply on X.com. Singh remarked, “Shri Maan Akhilesh… Those who live in glass houses do not throw stones at others’ houses.”

Dr. Rajeshwar Singh’s response was a lengthy tweet directed at Akhilesh Yadav. He stated, “Remember, while riding the chariot of power, you could not even keep your family together! You do not even remember the time when more than 62 people were killed in the Muzaffarnagar riots. Yet, while the displaced people shivered in tents, you were spending time with film stars at the Saifai Mahotsav!”

‘People shudder remembering the riots of SP rule’

In his tweet, Dr. Rajeshwar Singh asserted, “BJP is a huge family of 19 crore workers… for whom the country comes first, not their own interest. BJP’s policies are clear, intentions are clear, and leadership is strong! The 25 crore people of the state live happily and peacefully under BJP rule but still shudder remembering the riots, hooliganism, and mafia rule of the SP regime!”

BJP will again get a huge majority in the 2027 elections

He warned Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav, stating, “Remember that under the leadership of respected Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Yogi, BJP will contest the 2027 elections and will again win with a huge majority.”

He further wrote:

“Remember this thing of mine, this day and this date.

The justice of history is always the voice of the common people.

Neither I nor any BJP worker has any doubt in this.

Every worker is with Modi-Yogi and will stand firmly with them.

Leaving the important post of Leader of Opposition of the state is playing with the aspirations of the people of the state. Commenting on it with a film line is not in accordance with your stature. We expect some serious politics from you.

Play the role of a positive, responsible, people-oriented opposition and cooperate in nation building.

The people of UP will not repeat riots and mafia rule again.”

Dr. Rajeshwar Singh concluded his tweet with two hashtags:

#Don’tWantMafiaRule
#Don’tWantGoondaRule
