Dr Rajeshwar Singh Highlights Education, Youth Empowerment At Teachers’ Conference

Dr Rajeshwar Singh joined teachers from across Uttar Pradesh at the Provincial Teachers’ Dignity Conference organised by the All World Gayatri Pariwar in the presence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

The programme began with CM Yogi Adityanath paying floral tribute to Dr BR Ambedkar, followed by the chanting of Gayatri Mantras at the Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Auditorium.

The organisers honoured managers of ten schools for their outstanding performance and high student participation in the Indian Culture Knowledge Examination. They released a souvenir linked to the examination.

CM Yogi Adityanath highlighted the social contribution of the All World Gayatri Pariwar and the work of its founder, Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharya. He further underlined the importance of family values, cultural traditions and value-based organisations in strengthening society.

Dr Rajeshwar Singh welcomed the Chief Minister’s appreciation of educational initiatives in Sarojininagar and said it would encourage further efforts in the field.

Dr Rajeshwar Singh said education and youth empowerment remain central to Sarojininagar’s development.

The Ran Bahadur Singh (RBS) Digital Education and Youth Empowerment Centres have expanded to 18 locations.

The initiative has delivered more than 80 smart classrooms and digital libraries and over 350 computers. More than 2,000 meritorious students have received laptops, tablets and bicycles.

Dr Chinmay Pandya, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, said teachers play a crucial role in developing responsible citizens. He stressed that education must build character, values, sensitivity and national responsibility alongside knowledge.

Dr Rajeshwar Singh praised teachers for preserving India’s knowledge tradition.

“Because of you, the nation is progressing today. For thousands of years, you have kept the lamp of knowledge burning and established India as a source of knowledge and strength before the world,” he stated.

Cabinet Minister Swatantra Dev Singh, Legislative Council member Dr Mahendra Singh, and other dignitaries and teachers from across Uttar Pradesh attended the programme.
