Dr Dinesh Sharma Highlights Heroic Legacy Of Pasi Kings & Slams SP-Congress For Anti-Hindu Bias

At a grand convention held at Lucknow’s Convention Centre, organised by Union Minister Kaushal Kishore, Rajya Sabha MP and former UP Deputy Chief Minister Dr Dinesh Sharma praised the Pasi community’s legacy of courage and patriotism.

He stated that Pasi rulers were not just warriors but also protectors of Hindu civilisation, who bravely resisted foreign invaders and safeguarded Indian culture.

“Invaders feared the Pasi kings,” he said. “They weren’t looters, as falsely labelled by colonisers, but guardians of the land and religion.”

He added that most Pasi rulers in the region around Lucknow led from the front during critical battles and refused to bow to any aggressor.

Dr Sharma lashed out at the Samajwadi Party and the Congress, alleging that both parties harbour a deep dislike for those who speak for Hindutva and stand against corruption.

“If someone talks of Hindu pride or fights corruption, these parties sideline them,” he said.

He cited the example of Pooja Pal’s removal, saying it exposed the real face of parties profiting from divisive identity politics under the PDA banner.

Drawing a sharp contrast between past and present, Sharma said, “During the Congress era, India was compared to Pakistan. Today, under PM Modi, we are being compared to the United States. This is the new India — proud, assertive and globally respected.”

He praised operations like Sindoor and strong responses to cross-border threats, saying that while previous governments released white doves in response to enemy fire, PM Modi’s India hits back with precision and strength.

BJP’s Role in Honouring Pasi Heritage

Dr Sharma recalled that during his tenure as Mayor of Lucknow, he initiated multiple tributes to Pasi icons — from establishing Uda Devi Gate in Alambagh to expanding schools named after Maharaja Bijli Pasi.

He also mentioned the planned support for Maharaja Lakhna Pasi Upvan on the banks of Gomti, reinforcing the commitment to preserving Pasi pride.

He highlighted that the BJP has been the only party to truly honour Maharaja Suheldev’s legacy of resisting invasions.

Under CM Yogi Adityanath’s leadership, the government established a university in Azamgarh named after Suheldev, fulfilling the long-standing demand to recognise his bravery.

The event, attended by BJP leaders including Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya, brought together thousands from the Pasi community.

Leaders, including MLAs Jay Devi Kaushal, Brijesh Rawat, Amresh Kumar, and others, reaffirmed the party’s commitment to social harmony, anti-drug efforts, and community upliftment.

Dr Sharma closed by urging vigilance against divisive forces in politics, saying, “The time has come to unify and support those who protect our culture, traditions and future.”
