The Delhi Police Special Cell captured a 22-year-old alleged ‘Lady Don’, who reportedly had associations with the Deepak Agrola and Karamveer Kaala gang, in the Fatehpur region of the national capital.
This confirmation comes from an official of the Delhi Police Special Cell on Tuesday.
Identified as Kaili Tanwar, a resident of Ghaziabad district in Uttar Pradesh, authorities also found that she was carrying a reward of Rs 25,000 on her head.
According to the police, they received specific intelligence regarding Kaili Tanwar, who they believed to be residing in the vicinity of village Mandi and wanted in connection with a murder case in the Loni police station area.
The intelligence indicated that she would be near the bus stand in Fatehpur, Delhi.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Special Cell) Amit Kaushik stated, “We apprehended her from the Fatehpur area on Monday, acting upon the provided intelligence.”
“The Special Cell team arrested Md. Faijan, also known as Nanhe, wanted in connection with the same case, on 3 May following a brief exchange of fire,” added the DCP.
During the subsequent interrogation, Tanwar allegedly confessed to her involvement in the aforementioned murder case.
Consequently, she was arrested in Kalandra under section 41.1 (ba) of the CRPC and presented before the court.
The police official highlighted that the murder stemmed from an ongoing rivalry between two groups in Loni, with the accused reportedly affiliated with the Deepak Agrola and Karamveer Kaala gang.
The Uttar Pradesh Police had placed a reward of Rs 25,000 on Kaili’s arrest.
