Delhi Police Conducting Series Of Raids To Catch The Brain Behind Parliament Breach

New Delhi: According to an officer on Thursday, the Delhi Police are undertaking raids in an attempt to apprehend the sixth man who is thought to be a crucial member of the group that violated Parliament.

The conspirator

According to the source, Lalit Jha, a teacher by trade who lives in Kolkata, was the primary organizer of the security breech. Shaheed Bhagat Singh’s revolutionaries greatly inspired Lalit and others to carry out an act that would bring national attention to themselves.

According to the officer, security officials have not yet discovered any links to terrorist organizations. After connecting with one another on social media, the six allegedly formed a Bhagat Singh fan page on Facebook.

Planning going on from year

A year or so ago, Lalit, Sagar Sharma, and Maoranjan D met in Mysore, where they devised a plan to storm the parliament. Neelam and Amol were later incorporated into the scheme. Lalit, a teacher by profession, took the initiative and gave Manoranjan the task of conducting a reconnaissance of the Parliament’s entrances during the monsoon session.

Manoranjan visited Delhi in July and entered the parliament using a visiting card that was given out in the MP’s name. There, he learned that shoe frisking does not occur, according to the investigating officer.

The execution of plan

Lalit and the other four went to the Parliament on Wednesday. Only two of them received passes, so Lalit made the decision to take the phones of the other four—Sagar, Manoranjan, Neelam, and Amol—with him.

Amol had brought the color canisters from Kalyan, Maharashtra, which were sprayed both inside and outside the Parliament complex. The officer added that Sagar and Manoranjan entered the building, but Neelam and Amol remained outside at the gate and opened the canisters, which released red and yellow smoke.

Video leaked from the group

Soon after Neelam and Amol were taken into custody outside the parliament, Lalit shared the footage of the incident with Vishal Sharma, also a member of the group, and uploaded it to his Instagram account, the officer said. Lalit’s final known location was found along the Rajasthan–Haryana border in Neemrana.

The five had met on December 10 and remained at Vishal Sharma’s Gurugram home, according to earlier statements from the police. The Delhi Police Special cell and other security agencies have questioned Neelam, Manoranjan, Amol, and Vishal while they remain in jail.
