Delhi-NCR Sees Three Stabbings In A Single Day On Rising Violence Concerns

Delhi-NCR witnessed three stabbing incidents on Saturday, including a double murder in Uttar Pradesh’s Khora area and the killing of a 25-year-old man in Shastri Park, North East Delhi. These attacks highlight growing concerns over violent crimes in the region.

In Khora’s Azad Vihar area, three friends went out to get food but got into a dispute with an eatery owner.

Tensions escalated on their return, leading to a knife attack. The attackers killed two young men, Satyam and Shripal, on the spot, and critically injured a third, Angrag, who was admitted to GTB Hospital.

Police have launched a detailed investigation to determine the sequence of events and identify all those involved.

In a separate incident, police discovered the body of an unidentified 25-year-old man with multiple stab wounds in DDA Park, Shastri Park.

Forensic experts and the crime team collected evidence, and CCTV footage from nearby areas is being analysed to identify suspects.

Park guard Vijayant Kumar reported the discovery during his morning patrol, noting the tense atmosphere in the area.

Residents have voiced fear over the deteriorating law-and-order situation, expressing concern for daily safety.

These events are part of a broader spike in stabbings across Delhi-NCR. Recent incidents include the fatal stabbing of a 21-year-old in Vasant Kunj. Additionally, five minors were arrested in Shastri Nagar following a knife attack on January 26.

Authorities continue to investigate past incidents, relying on CCTV footage and eyewitness accounts to apprehend perpetrators.

Police officials urge residents to remain vigilant. Multiple teams have been deployed across the region to prevent further attacks and maintain law and order.
