“Death in his family, still…”: After poll wins, PM Modi praises the BJP chief

The BJP national president, JP Nadda, received high marks from Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday after the party won resounding victories in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan.

At a victory rally on Sunday at the BJP headquarters in the nation’s capital, Prime Minister Modi spoke to party supporters and praised Mr Nadda for his organizational abilities and the unceasing work he did behind the scenes to lay the foundation for the party’s eventual electoral success in the heartland states.

Additionally, PM Modi specifically mentioned how the national chief of the BJP threw himself into the election campaign despite going through a personal loss.

He also praised the work that Mr Nadda had done as a minister and a lawmaker in the past.

While the party workers enthusiastically chanted his name and shouted “Bharat Mata Ki Jai,” Prime Minister Modi appreciated Mr. Nadda’s capable leadership, as well as his electoral acumen and tactics, for the party’s incredible victories.

“These successes are the result of our national president, Nadda-Ji’s tireless efforts. We are here today because of the tactics he employed. Before the elections, there was a death in his family, but he persevered and led the party with complete dedication and commitment,” Prime Minister Modi stated.

Following the party’s overwhelming victories in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan, the BJP president visited the Hanuman temple in New Delhi’s Connaught Place with his family members and paid respects.

Speaking to party supporters at the victory rally, Mr Nadda praised Prime Minister Modi’s leadership.

“The Modi guarantee is the only guarantee that is effective in the country; desh mein ek hi guarantee chalti hai.” We regard it as our great fortune that we have won land-side victories in three states under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s direction. We are sincerely grateful to him. PM Modi has always led us from the front in every election the BJP has run for,” Mr Nadda stated.
