COWE To Host WISE 4.0 In Chandigarh To Promote Women-Led MSMEs & Sustainable Entrepreneurship

The Confederation of Women Entrepreneurs of India (COWE) will host the Women’s International Summit on Entrepreneurship (WISE) 4.0 on September 25–26, 2026, at Hotel Mount View, Sector 10, Chandigarh.

Hosted by the COWE Delhi Chapter, the two-day summit will bring together women entrepreneurs, industry experts, government representatives, development agencies, mentors and support organisations.

Governor of Haryana Prof Ashim Kumar Ghosh, Chief Minister of Haryana Nayab Singh Saini, Education Minister of Haryana Mahipal Dhanda, Rajya Sabha MP and former Chairperson of the National Commission for Women Smt Rekha Sharma, and National General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party Smriti Zubin Irani will attend the summit.

WISE 4.0 will cover sustainable entrepreneurship and responsible innovation, climate resilience, environmental stewardship, the circular economy, ethical business, rural entrepreneurship and grassroots leadership. Sessions will also examine women-led innovation in artificial intelligence, sustainability and wellness, along with global partnerships for inclusive growth.

The first day will feature discussions on climate resilience, rural entrepreneurship and the circular economy.

The second day will focus on women, AI, sustainable well-being and responsible business.

The programme will feature discussions, case studies, networking and interactions among entrepreneurs, mentors, investors and institutions, along with learning opportunities for students and aspiring entrepreneurs.

The summit will further conclude with a valedictory session and Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony.

Founded in Hyderabad in 2004 with 22 entrepreneurs, COWE now has over 2,000 members across 12 chapters in India.

The non-profit supports women entrepreneurs through mentoring, capacity building, technology, advocacy, market access and financial connections.

Through WISE 4.0, COWE aims to connect women entrepreneurs with technology, knowledge and wider markets while promoting sustainable growth.
