CM Yogi Praises Media’s Role In Making Maha Kumbh A Global Event

CM Yogi Adityanath praised the media’s significant contribution to the global recognition of the 2025 Maha Kumbh.

Speaking to journalists at the Digital Media Center in Prayagraj, CM Yogi acknowledged their tireless efforts in broadcasting the event live and spreading its message across the world.

“Maha Kumbh Prayagraj has truly become a global event, thanks to the media’s positive role in showcasing its grandeur,” he said, thanking journalists for ensuring the event’s global success.

CM Yogi highlighted the dedication of the media personnel, who worked under challenging conditions throughout the event.

“Regardless of the time of day or night, freezing cold or scorching heat, the media was always there, covering the event.

Your continuous efforts helped Maha Kumbh set new records,” he noted.

The CM also screened a short film titled ‘Maha Kumbh Ek Yaad Ban Gaya’ to commemorate the event’s unforgettable moments.

Maha Kumbh’s Record-Breaking Impact

Emphasizing the success of the event, CM Yogi explained that Prime Minister Modi’s vision of integrating faith with the economy had come to fruition, with the Maha Kumbh serving as a prime example.

Uttar Pradesh witnessed a massive influx of visitors, with 66.3 crore people attending the event in just 45 days.

The Chief Minister also praised the state’s new spiritual tourism circuits, linking key destinations like Ayodhya, Kashi, and Mathura, which further boosted tourism.

CM Yogi highlighted the global participation at the event, with representatives from 100 countries attending, including ambassadors, ministers, and heads of state.

He noted the extensive infrastructure developed for the event, including 200 roads, 14 flyovers, and state-of-the-art facilities, contributing to Prayagraj’s transformation into a modern smart city.

The use of cutting-edge technology, including facial recognition and AI, enabled efficient crowd management and real-time tracking.

Media’s Role In Promoting Faith & Economy

The CM credited the media for its role in promoting the integration of faith and economy, stating that the event’s impact extended beyond India’s borders.

With an investment of ₹7,500 crore, the state saw a ₹3.5 lakh crore economic boost.

He also commended the media for its positive coverage, both locally and internationally, which played a pivotal role in marketing the event globally.

In conclusion, CM Yogi expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the media for their unwavering support, recognizing them as an essential factor in the historic success of the Maha Kumbh.
