CM Yogi Adityanath Resolves Dispute, Stresses Nationalism in Muzaffarnagar Address

Muzaffarnagar: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while addressing a public meeting in the Kshatriya-dominated Rardhana village of Sardhana assembly seat of Muzaffarnagar Lok Sabha constituency, attempted to resolve the dispute between BJP candidate Dr Sanjeev Balyan and former Sardhana MLA Sangeet Som.

Considering the opposition of the Kshatriya community, he emphasized that while personal differences may exist during elections, ideology and nationalism are paramount. “There can be no compromise on this. We must not allow those who enforce curfews to flourish again. It was these individuals who imprisoned Sangeet Som and Sanjeev Balyan and subjected the area’s residents to curfews. They are the ones spreading misinformation,” he opined.

The Chief Minister asserted that if it became necessary to choose a national religion, they would forsake everything and sacrifice themselves for that faith. “We need a government capable of managing the Kanwar Yatra. We do not want anyone imposing curfews. There is no need to forgive those who supported curfews and ruined the lives of young people by filing false lawsuits against them. Those individuals may come with various messages,” he stated.

He further referred to the life of Maharana Pratap, emphasizing the importance of India’s honour and self-respect. “What kind of sacrifices are needed for Swadharma and Swarashtra? We do not seek power; we are ready to eat grass, but we will never bow before foreign rule. Those who auctioned off the honour of sisters and daughters in this area by imposing curfews must not be allowed to regain power,” he emphasized.

“These people will come; they will come with their tails between their legs. They will then create chaos and anarchy in this entire area. There has been no neglect in development under the BJP government. Security was never compromised. We provided a secure environment for daughters and businessmen. We must prioritize the country over personal differences. Nothing is more important to us than the country and nationalism,” he stressed.
