CM Yogi Adityanath Declares ‘Beginning of Ram Rajya’ at Pran Pratishtha Ceremony

On Monday, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya witnessed a historic moment as the idol of Ram Lalla was unveiled, attended by a grand gathering and addressed by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The Chief Minister expressed his overwhelming emotions, stating that on this auspicious occasion, every village and city across the nation has become ‘Ayodhya Dham,’ and every road leads towards Ayodhya.

Yogi Adityanath remarked that the event marks the beginning of ‘Ram Rajya,’ and he feels as if the nation has entered the Treta Yuga. He emphasized the significance of Lord Ram in the hearts of the people, stating that every person’s mind is focused on Lord Ram, and tears of joy and satisfaction fill their eyes. The Chief Minister declared it a proud day for India and envisioned a shift towards an era reminiscent of ‘Ram Rajya.’

Highlighting the transformative impact, Yogi Adityanath proclaimed that Ayodhya will no longer resonate with the sound of gunshots, and curfews will be replaced by celebrations like Deepotsav and Ramotsav. He anticipated that the streets of Ayodhya will now echo with the ‘Sankirtan’ of Shri Ram’s name, symbolizing the establishment of Ram Rajya.

Expressing personal satisfaction, Yogi Adityanath mentioned that witnessing the construction of the temple at the same sacred place for which a resolution was taken is a source of happiness for his soul. He acknowledged the global attention towards Ayodhya and the desire of people worldwide to visit the sacred city.

Yogi praises the double engine government

The Chief Minister praised the double-engine government for the comprehensive development of Ayodhya, encompassing infrastructural advancements, connectivity improvements, and various developmental projects in the city associated with Lord Ram.

Earlier in the day, the idol of Shri Ram Lalla was unveiled in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who led the rituals at the Pran Pratishtha ceremony. The atmosphere was filled with deep devotion, accompanied by flower petals showered from Indian Air Force choppers. Notable figures like RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath attended the ceremony, chanting ‘Jai Sri Ram’ along with devotees.

The magnificent Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir, constructed in traditional Nagara style, boasts impressive dimensions, supported by numerous pillars and adorned with intricately sculpted depictions of Hindu deities. The main sanctum sanctorum houses the childhood form of Bhagwan Shri Ram, known as Shri Ramlalla. The temple complex includes various halls and historical features, such as the Sita koop well and the restored Mandir of Bhagwan Shiv at Kuber Tila, enhancing the spiritual significance of the sacred site.
