CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan Says, Governance In Country As Per The Imagination Of Saint Ravidas

Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that Saint Shiromani Ravidas ji had envisioned such a rule where every person gets enough food and welfare. PM Modi has established such a system of governance in India, in which arrangements have been made for everyone to have food, a house with basic facilities, education and health. Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas is his main mantra.

CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan inaugurated Sant Ravidas Samarsata Yatra in Singrauli. He worshiped Saint Ravidas. He honored Saints Bhaiyalal Bhagat, Ramashankar Das, Kanhaiya Lal and Sevadar Ramakant Das, Ramsjeevan Das and Premdas.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that Sant Ravidas ji one of those saints who strongly opposed casteism and untouchability. He was a philanthrophist, kind and soft-spoken. Shri Ravidas distributed whatever he earned in his day-to-day life, because of this the father had expelled him from the house.

On February 8, on the birth anniversary of Sant Ravidas ji, I had announced in Sagar that a grand temple and memorial of Sant Ravidas ji would be built there at a cost of Rs 102 crore, which would give the message of peace, harmony and harmony to the society. With the aim of creating awareness about the message and values ​​of life of Saint Ravidas in the society, Samarsata Yatras are being taken out across the state, which will reach Sagar on August 12. Chief Minister Chouhan said that chariots focused on the personality and works of Saint Ravidas will pass through 46 districts and 53 thousand villages of the state, in which soil from each village and water from 315 rivers will be taken to the foundation stone laying site. The chariot will have Swami Ravidas’s paduka, picture and urn, which will be worshiped at different places. The message of social harmony is mentioned on the chariot.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that on August 12, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of Sant Ravidas’s memorial in Sagar. This monument will be built in Nagara style in which the couplets and verses of Sant Ravidas will be engraved.

He said that Saint Ravidas used to say, “I want such a thing in the kingdom, where everyone gets food, small and big, Ravidas remains happy.” Our government is following his teachings literally. The government is giving free food to the poor, arrangements have been made for permanent housing and treatment for all. Arrangements have been made for full meal for Rs.5 for the laborers. Chief Minister Chouhan said that there is no need to give sittings to hawkers and those doing petty work, they should do their work fearlessly.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that according to the teachings of Saint Ravidas, work is being done for everyone’s welfare in the state. Sisters are being empowered. Ladli Bahna Yojana is a scheme for the self-respect of sisters. Its amount will be gradually increased up to Rs.3000 per month. Education has been arranged for everyone in the state. Every possible help is being given to the children for education and higher education. For employment with training, the Seeho-Kamao scheme has been started. The process of recruitment of one lakh government posts is going on in the state and 50 thousand more posts will be recruited.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that our government is continuously working for the welfare of Scheduled Castes. In the earlier governments, the budget provision for Scheduled Castes used to be 286 crores, while in our government it has become 26000 crores. Hostel, ashram school, scholarship and other facilities are being provided for SC students. Sant Ravidas Global Skill Park is being built in Bhopal where 6000 children will be trained.

Saint Bhaiyalal Bhagat Singh, who came from Kashi, said that it is a matter of good fortune for us to use the holy water of Saint Shiromani Ravidas ji at his birthplace. He mentioned the messages of harmony and social welfare of Guru Ravidas ji. MP Reeti Pathak said that today is a historic day, in which we have got an opportunity to honor the saints who came from Kashi, the birthplace of Saint Ravidas. Today is the day of respect for public interest, victory and public sentiment. It is our good fortune that the soil and water collected from here will be used in the construction of Sant Ravidas ji’s memorial to be built in Sagar district. MP Pathak expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Chouhan for the development of the area.

Yatra in-charge Kailash Jatav said that starting from 5 districts, this yatra will pass through thousands of villages and reach the sea carrying water and soil from the rivers of the entire state, which will be used in the memorial of Sant Ravidas ji. Forest Minister Vijay Shah, MLA Amar Singh, Singrauli MLA Ram Lallu Bais, MLA Chitrangi Amar Singh, Kantadev Singh, Ranveer Singh Rawat, Ramsumiran Gupta and other public representatives and a large number of devotees were present in the programme.
