CM Mohan Yadav Presents Ancient Lord Varaha Idol To PM Modi On His 75th Birthday

Marking his 75th birthday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was honoured with a rare 10th-century idol of Lord Varaha, presented by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav.

The symbolic gesture took place in Dhar district during PM Modi’s visit for the launch of developmental and social welfare schemes.

According to Hindu mythology, Lord Varaha is the third incarnation of Lord Vishnu, appearing in the form of a boar to rescue the Earth from a demon.

The idol, rich in heritage and significance, symbolises strength, protection, and restoration of cosmic order.

Foundation Stone Laid for PM MITRA Park

During his visit, PM Modi laid the foundation stone for the PM Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel (PM MITRA) Park in Dhar.

The initiative aims to boost the textile sector and generate employment, aligning with the government’s vision for industrial growth and Atmanirbhar Bharat.

Addressing a massive gathering of farmers and women, CM Mohan Yadav praised PM Modi’s leadership, stating, “In the past 11 years, Prime Minister Modi has transformed India into a globally respected nation.”

On this occasion, PM Modi made a heartfelt appeal to women across India to take part in free nationwide health screening camps.

Emphasising the importance of women’s health, he said, “Your health is priceless, and the government will bear every cost.”

This campaign, running until Vijayadashami (2 October), is aimed at encouraging preventive care and promoting women’s wellness as the foundation of strong families and communities.

The Prime Minister also launched the eighth edition of Poshan Maah (Nutrition Month), reinforcing the government’s commitment to reducing maternal and infant mortality.

He shared that more than 6.5 crore pregnant women have already benefited from the programme, with ₹19,000 crore directly transferred into their accounts.

The government disbursed ₹450 crore to over 15 lakh women in a single digital transaction on the day of the event, further empowering maternal care through direct financial assistance.

Tribal Healthcare and Cultural Homage

In a move to address genetic health issues within tribal communities, PM Modi also introduced the Aradhna Kanlmi Sickle Cell Genetic Counselling Card.

This step supports the ongoing mission to eradicate sickle cell anaemia and improve healthcare access in underserved regions.

Paying homage to the cultural heritage of Dhar, the Prime Minister invoked blessings from Vagdevi of Bhojshala and Lord Vishwakarma, fostering a sense of cultural pride and unity.

PM Modi’s birthday celebrations in Madhya Pradesh showcased a blend of tradition, welfare, and development—honouring heritage while driving forward the nation’s inclusive progress.
