Rajeshwar Singh, former Police Officer and current MLA from Sarojini Nagar (Lucknow) is conferred by ‘Humanitarian Award 2023’ by the Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud for outstanding work done for the mentally challenged and differently abled people.
He shared a tweet on social media and wrote, “Chief Justice of India with a golden heart – very rare that an erudite and intellectual justice not just talks but walks the path of inclusion. It was indeed a rare honor for me to be felicitated with ‘Humanitarian Award 2023’ for the work done for the differently abled people in Sarojini Nagar and Uttar Pradesh, at large. The path shown by the chief Justice of India. On the issues of inclusivity shall act as an inspiration to people, young India particularly. The work done by TamanaNGO for helping the cause of mentally challenged, disabled and autistic is truly commendable, especially the leadership offered by their founder Dr ShayamaChona ji.”
Rajeshwar Singh has always been very sincere towards his voters and people of Sarojini Nagar who brought him the seat in Vidhan Sabha. His decisions and diligence reflect the discipline that he has been following for fourteen years in the police department before stepping into politics.
