Kotha Prabhakar Reddy, a Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MP and close associate of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, was stabbed on Monday during a campaign event in Siddipet, according to police officials. Reddy has been brought to a hospital and is not in danger, according to police officials cited by Source.
For the elections on November 30, Reddy is the BRS’s nominee from the Dubbak assembly segment.

“Kotha Prabhakar Reddy, MP, is secure.” The incident happened in the Daulatabad Mandal’s Surampally village. His new location is Gajwel. The Siddipet Commissioner, N Swetha, told ANI that the alleged culprit was in custody and that the investigation was ongoing.
In television footage, Prabhakar Reddy was seen sitting in a car and applying pressure to his stomach stab wound to stop the bleeding. Some locals “beaten up” the individual who allegedly stabbed the MP, according to Source.
Reddy represents Medak, Telangana, as an MP at this time. After KCR resigned from his seat to become chief minister in 2014, he was elected as an MP from the constituency. It was recently announced that he was the Dubbak candidate. He is running against Raghunandan Rao of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
