Monilek Hospital and CK Birla Hospital in Jaipur were subjected to bomb threats on Sunday, prompting immediate action from local authorities. Officials reported that anonymous emails were sent to both hospitals, warning of explosives placed under hospital beds and in bathrooms, with threats of severe violence.
Upon receiving the threats, police swiftly deployed teams to both hospitals and initiated an investigation. Additional Police Commissioner Law and Order Kunwar Rashtradeep confirmed that both the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) and bomb squads were dispatched to the scene. “The search is ongoing in both hospitals, and as of now, no suspicious objects have been found,” Rashtradeep said.

ATS teams, along with canine units, conducted thorough searches at Monilek Hospital, while CK Birla Hospital temporarily closed its outpatient department due to the scare. The search efforts at CK Birla Hospital continued as of the latest updates.
Authorities are also tracing the IP address linked to the threatening emails. Sources indicated that the IP addresses used in both incidents are identical.
This incident follows a pattern of similar threats in Jaipur, including bomb threats to several schools on May 13, which were later confirmed to be hoaxes, and a similar scare at Jaipur airport in June, which also proved unfounded.
Reports indicate that over 100 hospitals across Rajasthan have recently received comparable bomb threat emails. The intelligence agencies are currently investigating the organizations responsible for these threats.
Further details will be provided as the investigation progresses.
