Bomb Scare Triggers High Alert In Jaisalmer As Security Measures Intensify Across Rajasthan

Security forces launched a massive operation in Jaisalmer on Friday after a bomb-like object appeared in the Jogi Colony of Kishanghat around 10 AM.

Army personnel immediately evacuated the area and safely defused the object, averting what could have been a major disaster.

Police enforced a city-wide blockade in Jaisalmer, deploying heavily armed personnel to monitor all entry and exit points.

Authorities permitted movement only after verifying documents thoroughly, while teams kept a close watch on all suspicious activity.

Missile And Drone Attacks Foiled By Indian Defence Systems

The state-wide alert follows two failed attack attempts by Pakistan.

On the night of May 7–8, Indian airbases at Uttarlai, Nal, and Phalodi came under missile attack, which India’s S-400 air defence system intercepted mid-air.

Later, on May 8 at 9 PM, swarm drones targeted military bases in Jaisalmer and Pokaran, but security forces neutralised them before they could cause harm.
