BJP Spokesperson Dr. Ajay Alok Affirms Commitment to Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh Development in Press Conference

In a press conference held at the state BJP office today, Bharatiya Janata Party’s national spokesperson, Dr. Ajay Alok, made several significant statements regarding the political landscape in Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh.

Dr Alok emphasized the BJP’s commitment to the creation and development of Jharkhand, citing the pivotal role played by the revered Atal Bihari Vajpayee in the state’s formation. He underscored the BJP’s determination to continue the developmental momentum initiated by Vajpayee and echoed Prime Minister Modi’s pledge to further advance the state’s progress.

Highlighting the BJP’s track record in governance, Dr Alok juxtaposed the party’s 15-year tenure in Chhattisgarh, which witnessed substantial development, with the comparatively lacklustre performance of the Congress during its five-year rule. He accused the Congress of neglecting Chhattisgarh’s interests and subjecting it to repeated onslaughts, contrasting this with the BJP’s ongoing efforts to uplift the state.

Turning his attention to the political dynamics in Jharkhand, Dr Alok criticized the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), interpreting its acronym as “Zameen Maro Morcha,” implying a focus on land grabbing. He accused the JMM of betraying the aspirations of the people who had sacrificed for the creation of the state, alleging collusion with other political figures to hinder Jharkhand’s establishment.

Dr Alok condemned the alleged corruption within the Jharkhand government, particularly targeting the incumbent Chief Minister for purportedly occupying tribal land. He pledged the BJP’s unwavering commitment to rooting out corruption and ensuring accountability, promising severe repercussions for those found guilty.

Asserting Prime Minister Modi’s transformative leadership, Dr Alok highlighted the emergence of marginalized voices in national governance, exemplified by the appointments of individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds to key positions, including the presidency.

Dr Alok reiterated the BJP’s determination to secure a resounding victory in both the Lok Sabha and upcoming state assembly elections in Jharkhand. He emphasized the electorate’s rejection of corruption and asserted that the BJP, under the leadership of Babulal Marandi and Narendra Modi, would continue its mission of inclusive development.

In conclusion, Dr. Alok underscored Prime Minister Modi’s uncompromising stance against corruption, promising stringent action against corrupt individuals, even beyond the electoral period. He exuded confidence in the BJP’s electoral prospects, expressing the party’s resolve to secure all 14 Lok Sabha seats in the state.

State media in-charge Shivpujan Pathak and state spokesperson Avinesh Kumar were also present during the press conference.
