The Alakh Foundation hosted the Women Achievers Award at the Leela Hotel in Delhi, honouring women who have made a difference in their professions. Bharat Express Chairman, MD, and Editor-in-Chief Upendrra Rai honoured these iconic women who stood out among millions. Also, Bharat Express News Network was the media partner of this event.
Journalist and professor at LSR Vartika Nanda, Bollywood singer Shibani Kashyap, and Kausar Munir were also honoured with the Women Achievers Award for their contributions to their respective fields.
At the event, Bharat Express’ Chairman Upendrra Rai stated, “The patriarchal society is the result of women’s liberal behaviour. This is a woman’s world where men have entered and established their power.”
He continued, “I say this because the one who has the ability to create becomes great. The argument about whether men or women are in the lead continues, but in my opinion, both are interrelated.
Senior journalist Upendrra Rai states, “There should be a world where both men and women understand each other’s importance and give each-other complete freedom.”
