On the occasion of hundredth anniversary of Hindi cinema’s famous singer Mukesh, a music launch event of ‘Tu Meri Aashiqui’ was organized by “Music Garage” at Chillin Kitchen & Bar, Mumbai. Upendra Rai, Chairman, MD and Editor-in-Chief of Bharat Express participated in this program. Neil Nitin Mukesh and Shreya Sharma were also present at the event.
Today on this occasion, bollywood actor Neil Nitin Mukesh’s first song has been released to set the stage on fire. In ‘Tu Meri Aashiqui’, Shreya Sharma and Neil’s chemistry is worth watching. This song is live on the official YouTube channel of Music Garage. ‘Tu Meri Aashiqui’ is directed by Adhyayan Suman and produced by A Jhunjhunwala and SK Ahluwalia. The lyrics of the song is written by Rashid Khan.
Mukesh Chand Mathur was born on 22 July 1923 to Zorawar Chand Mathur and Chand Rani in Ludhiana. His elder sister used to take music lessons and Mukesh used to listen her with great interest. Mukesh started taking music lessons at Motilal’s house, but his heartfelt desire was to enter Hindi films as an actor.
Mukesh’s voice was very melodious and Motilal recognized his talent when he heard Mukesh singing at his sister’s wedding. Motilal took him to Bombay where he worked hard to fulfill his dreams. Mukesh got the job of the main artist in the Hindi film ‘Nirdosh’ and as a playback singer, Mukesh got a chance in the film ‘Pehli Nazar’. In 1974,he was conferred with National Film Award for singing the song ‘Kai Baar Yun Bhi Dekha Hai’ in the film Rajnigandha.
