Earlier, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) transferred the investigation of the Rameshwaram Cafe blast in Bengaluru to the National Investigation Agency (NIA), which has re-registered the case and initiated a thorough probe.

Last week, the case was handed over to the NIA following an inspection by their team at the blast site.

On Wednesday, the NIA announced a reward of ₹10 lakh for any information leading to the identification and arrest of the bomber involved in the blast. The agency assured that the identities of informants will be kept confidential. A photograph of the bomber, taken from the CCTV footage while placing a bag in The Rameshwaram Cafe, was released by the NIA. The suspect was observed wearing a cap, black pants, and black shoes.
