Ayodhya: The General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, Champat Rai, stated on Tuesday that complaints regarding receiving money for darshan of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya will be thoroughly investigated. There is no provision for darshan in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple by paying money or reserving time slots, yet some incidents have surfaced, which will be looked into by the police. The trust bears no responsibility for these occurrences.
Mr. Rai mentioned that devotees who patiently queue up can easily have darshan of Shri Ramlala and have a satisfactory experience. Over the past few days, reports have emerged suggesting that some individuals are gaining access to Ram Lalla Darshan in Ayodhya by paying money and securing time slots, despite no such arrangements existing. He has also issued a video statement addressing this matter.
He explained that naturally, it takes around one to one and a half hours for any devotee to have darshan of Ramlala. If the darshan is conducted after seven in the morning or after eight in the evening, the waiting time is even shorter. There is no provision for purchasing darshan in the temple or reserving time slots. However, if such complaints have been lodged, the individuals involved will be investigated.
Since the consecration ceremony, approximately 1.25 to 1.5 lakh people visit Ram Lalla’s court daily. Darshan is available in the temple from 6:30 in the morning to 9:30 at night, and everyone can have darshan without difficulty. He has urged the public to have darshan peacefully and assured that those who accept money for darshan will face scrutiny.
