Atal Bihari Vajpayee: President-Vice President And PM Modi Paid Tribute To Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee On His Birth Anniversary

Indian top political leaders paid floral tributes to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Atal Bihari Vajpayee: On the occasion of the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee, President Draupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to him at the National Memorial. During this, along with PM Modi, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, BJP National President J.P. Nadda, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Home Minister Amit Shah also paid floral tributes to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his birth anniversary at the Atal Samadhi Sthal.

Today, first of all, President Draupadi Murmu paid floral tributes to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his birth anniversary at the Atal Samadhi Sthal. After this, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar paid floral tributes.

After this, in turn, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri offered floral tributes to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his birth anniversary at the Atal Samadhi Sthal.

The Uttar Pradesh government will host several programs on the occasion of the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on Sunday. During this, Kavi Sammelans, plays and debates will be organized across the state. A week-long campaign will also be launched from December 25-31 to provide tap water connection to every household in the state.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath started the day by paying floral tributes to Vajpayee at Lok Bhawan. During this, a short drama on Vajpayee’s life will also be staged. The Culture Department has organized Atal Geet Ganga program at Bateshwar in Agra, where artists will recite poems written by Vajpayee. Mukul Mahan, Shiv Kumar Vyas, Shashi Shreya, Yogi Yogesh Shukla and Shreyas Tripathi will recite the poetry of Vajpayee in another program in Balrampur.

A special event is also being organized at Lok Bhavan in Lucknow. A government spokesman said that Vajpayee’s speeches would be telecast here. There will be a special presentation of Vajpayee’s poems in the voices of Hariharan and Jagjit Singh.
