At an election rally, Kharge becomes upset, and the BJP refers to him as a “rubber stamp president”

Chief of the BJP IT Cell Amit Malviya referred to Congressman Mallikarjun Kharge as a “rubber stamp president” on Sunday after Kharge was captured on camera snapping at a crowd during an electoral rally in Kalwakurthy, Telangana, which is headed for polls.

Sharing a 28-second video of the Congressman becoming irritated due to the rowdy audience, Malviya claimed Kharge feels embarrassed in every of his public appearances and that he hopelessly yells at his employees for showing him no respect.

“The Gandhi’s have made him into a president who signs documents. In all Rajasthan advertisements, for example, his pictures had either vanished or been shrunk to the size of a stamp, while Gehlot and Rahul Gandhi’s images dominated the screen. Is Mr. Kharge being disparaged by the Congress due to his Dalit heritage? remarked the BJP leader.

As Kharge was speaking to the Telangana throng about the poll pledges, the cacophonous yelling from the audience interrupted him.

He is heard stating, “Chup baitho, agar sunna hai to suno, nahi to get out,” in the video. Main Tumhare Mooh…tumko jo wo kehte hona. If you don’t want to listen, leave. If sunna hai to suno, warna apni jagah ko jao. Anything that comes to mind is what you are saying. If you’d like, listen; if not, continue on your way.

Kharge further chastised the disorderly gathering, accusing them of failing to notice that an All India Congress Committee leader was speaking. Either listen to him, or get out of there, he cautioned the audience. In the meantime, the grand old party has declared six promises for the state that will soon go to polls, including free bus transportation for women, ₹2,500 monthly for women, ₹500 for LPG cylinders, and 200 free power units for each home.

On November 30, Telangana will have assembly elections, and on December 3, the ballots will be counted.
