Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Kiran Pahal, Poovamma MR, Prachi and Vithya Ramraj on their performance in the Women’s 4×400m Relay at the Asian Games.
In a post shared by the PMO India, PM Modi described the quartet’s performance as ‘magnificent’ and praised their speed and determination. He said their effort had taken India to the top of the podium and called the result a proud moment for Indian athletics.
“Congratulations to Kiran Pahal, Poovamma MR, Prachi and Vithya Ramraj on a magnificent performance in the Women’s 4×400m Relay at the Asian Games. Their speed and determination powered India to the top of the podium,” the Prime Minister posted on X.
PM Modi described the victory as a ‘wonderful example of what teamwork can achieve’ and extended his best wishes to the four athletes for their future endeavours.
