Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday congratulated Indian athletes who secured medals at the ongoing Asian Games, praising their performances across squash, kabaddi, shooting, table tennis and athletics.
In a post shared by PMO India, PM Modi congratulated Joshna Chinappa and Velavan Senthilkumar on winning the bronze medal in the Squash Mixed Team event.

PM Modi also congratulated India’s women’s kabaddi team after it defeated Iran 37-34 in a closely contested final to retain the Asian Games title.
The Prime Minister praised the players for displaying courage, composure and teamwork during the match.

PM Modi also congratulated Tilottama Sen, Vidarsa Vinod Kochalumkal and Ashi Chouksey after the trio won the silver medal in the Women’s 50m Rifle 3 Positions Team event.
India finished with 1,763 points, while China secured gold with 1,773 points and Kazakhstan took bronze with 1,754 points.

The Prime Minister congratulated Manush Shah and Diya Chitale after they won the bronze medal in the Mixed Doubles Table Tennis event.
