Ashwini Vaishnaw Lauds PM Modi’s Tireless Commitment To National Service

In an exclusive interaction, Union Minister for Railways, Electronics and IT Ashwini Vaishnaw commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his tireless devotion to national service.

“The Prime Minister has dedicated every moment of his life to the country,” he said, adding that this unwavering spirit of commitment and sacrifice has been widely embraced by the people of India.

Recalling his experiences across various regions — including Maharashtra, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, and Western Uttar Pradesh — Vaishnaw noted the ‘remarkable’ changes in people’s lives brought about under PM Modi’s leadership.

He stressed that the Prime Minister’s governance model is results-driven and deeply rooted in the needs of the common citizen.

Empowering Women Through Policy

Vaishnaw highlighted women’s empowerment as a central pillar of PM Modi’s vision.

He stated that the Prime Minister continues to receive blessings from ‘the mothers and sisters of the nation’ for implementing welfare programmes that improve their daily lives.

According to the Minister, PM Modi’s initiatives have helped empower women as key contributors to the country’s socio-economic development.

Turning to technology and industrial policy, Vaishnaw gave insight into the Prime Minister’s ambitious plans for India’s semiconductor industry.

While officials initially proposed a three- to four-year development plan, PM Modi insisted on a 20-year roadmap, pushing for an integrated vision that includes not only chip fabrication, but also the machinery, design, and raw materials ecosystem.

“His focus is not just on setting up fabs,” said Vaishnaw, “but on building the entire semiconductor value chain within India. That kind of foresight is rare and deeply impactful.”

Firm Leadership for Sustainable Progress

Vaishnaw underlined the Prime Minister’s leadership qualities — particularly his ability to take bold decisions, maintain a long-term outlook, and work with unmatched discipline.

He credited PM Modi with laying a strong foundation for India’s future through his emphasis on sustainable and inclusive growth.

Earlier in the day, the Minister posted a tribute on X (formerly Twitter), saying, “Heartfelt salutations to the Honorable Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji on sacred birthday, who has given India a new direction, new inspiration, and new energy. By following the path shown by you, India will prosper, become empowered, and fulfill the resolve of becoming a developed nation by 2047.”
