Arvind Kejriwal Attacked During Election Campaign In New Delhi Constituency, BJP’s Parvesh Verma Reacts

The Aam Aadmi Party alleged that BJP ‘goons’ attacked Arvind Kejriwal during election campaigning in the New Delhi constituency on Saturday.

In an X post, the official page of the Aam Aadmi Party said that the ‘goons of Pravesh Verma’ attacked Kejriwal’s convoy as he was campaigning for coming assembly elections in the capital.

The video shared by the Aam Aadmi Party on X shows that Arvind Kejriwal’s car was attacked as someone from the crowd threw stones at the car.

“Fearing defeat, BJP panicked and got its goons to attack Arvind Kejriwal While BJP candidate Pravesh Verma was campaigning, goons of BJP candidate Pravesh Verma attacked Arvind Kejriwal with bricks and stones and tried to hurt him so that he could not campaign. BJP people, Kejriwal ji is not going to be scared of your cowardly attack, the people of Delhi will give you a befitting reply,” AAP wrote on X.

The X post, challenging the BJP, further said that Arvind Kejriwal will not get scared of these acts, and the Delhi public will give a harsh reply to this violent act.

BJP candidate Parvesh Verma from New Delhi against AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal was quick to respond to the situation.

Making an X post, Verma stated that Kejriwal’s car hit two youngsters as they were asking questions to Kejriwal about development in Delhi. Verma further said that both the injured were in hospital and he was going to hospital.

Notably, the assembly election is scheduled to take place on February 5 and the results will be announced on February 8.

Earlier in the day, the Aam Aadmi party announced that they would launch a scheme for the renter in the capital. People living on rent in Delhi will get free electricity and water if AAP retains power for the third consecutive term.
