Anil Antony Tries To Swing It In BJP’s Favour In Kerala

Fine start by Anil Antony. Son of senior Congress leader A. K. Antony quit the grand old party Congress in favour of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) four months ago. Almost immediately the saffron outfit has appointed him as National Secretary. He has swung into action now.

Couple of days back, an Army havildaar has alleged that he  was surrounded by a mob and who forcefully written PFI (Popular Front of India – the outfit which got banned recently) on his back using green ink. Anil was the first to take up this issue.

Lambasting both the coalitions United Democratic Front (UDF) led by Congress and the Left Democratic Alliance (LDF) led by the Communist Party of India Marxists (CPI(M)) Anil said that Islamic elements have flourished in the state as both UDF as well as the ruling LDF are very soft towards them as they hope to get their vote in return.

Later it turned out that the havildaar has in fact “manufactured” the story. Still Anil is adamant with his stand. He said that havildaar may be a liar but that doesn’t mean UDF and LDF has nothing to do for their uprising. BJP is using Anil with an eye to garner Christian votes in the state.
