Amit Shah Says BJP’s Election Wins Reflect Public Rejection Of INDI Alliance

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday attributed the BJP’s successive electoral victories to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, claiming that voters had rejected the INDI Alliance despite what he described as its misleading claims and propaganda.

In a post on social media, Shah cited the NDA’s victories in by-elections in West Bengal, Assam and Puducherry, along with recent municipal election results in Rajasthan and Tripura. He said these outcomes demonstrated continued public support for the BJP and its allies.

Shah alleged that opposition parties had lost their public support and questioned institutions following electoral defeats.

He claimed that voters had recognised this pattern and once again expressed their confidence in the BJP through a strong mandate.

The Home Minister’s remarks came amid the party’s efforts to highlight its electoral performance across several states and reinforce its political position under PM Modi’s leadership.

Shah extended his congratulations to West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, Tripura Chief Minister Professor Manik Saha and Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy.

He also praised state party presidents and workers for their efforts, crediting their hard work for the electoral gains.

The message sought to underline the BJP and NDA’s performance across different regions, presenting the results as evidence of public confidence in their leadership.

Shah’s post also targeted Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and the wider opposition alliance, accusing them of spreading confusion and propaganda.

His comments framed the recent results as a setback for the opposition and a boost for the BJP ahead of future electoral contests.
