Amit Shah Leads Tiranga Yatra In Gujarat To Honour Operation Sindoor Success

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday led the ‘Tiranga Yatra’ in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, to honour the Indian Armed Forces for the success of Operation Sindoor.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) launched the yatra on May 13. It will continue till May 23.

In a post on X, Shah wrote, “The brave soldiers of the country have made Operation Sindoor synonymous with the elimination of terrorism with their valour.” He shared live updates from the Tiranga Yatra held in Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency.

While in Gujarat, Shah also inaugurated the new building of KK Patel and Madhuben K Patel Nursing College in Gozaria, Mehsana district.

He later addressed the gathering during the inauguration ceremony.

Shah also spoke at a conference in Ahmedabad, organised by the Gujarat State Cooperative Federation.

The event focused on the ‘Role of cooperatives in building a developed India’.

Amit Shah praised the Modi-led government for empowering cooperatives. He said the sector has brought positive change to the lives of the poor, deprived, and farmers.

Shah highlighted initiatives such as the creation of Tribhuvan Cooperative University and the strengthening of Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS).

In another post on X, Shah wrote, “The cooperative system in the Modi government is moving forward with full strength.”

He further added that the new book Cooperation Sankalp was released at the event.

The book covers themes like women empowerment, digitalisation, environmental protection, and the cooperative model for a developed India.
