Amit Shah Extends Birthday Wishes To Rajnath Singh; Praises His Leadership

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday extended birthday greetings to Union Defence Minister and senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Rajnath Singh, praising his role in strengthening India’s armed forces and advancing self-reliance in the defence sector.

In a post on X, Shah said Rajnath Singh has played an admirable role in modernising and strengthening the country’s armed forces under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He added that Singh has also accelerated India’s journey towards self-reliance in the defence sector.

Shah also praised Rajnath Singh’s organisational leadership, saying he has fulfilled every responsibility with great skill, from expanding the BJP’s grassroots presence to inspiring party workers to remain committed to the principle of ‘Nation First’.

The Home Minister said Rajnath Singh has consistently discharged every responsibility entrusted to him with dedication and efficiency, both in the government and the organisation.

Extending his wishes, Shah prayed for Rajnath Singh’s good health and long life.

Rajnath Singh has served as the Union Defence Minister since 2019. During his political career, he has also held key positions, including Union Home Minister, BJP National President and Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.
