Allahabad University in QS World Ranking for the first time

For the first time, Allahabad Central University, known as Oxford of the East, has got a place in this ranking The Quacquarelli Symonds (QS)  World University, an organization that releases rankings of universities and technical institutions around the world, has released the rankings for 2024.

Not only this, Indian Institute of Information Technology (Triple IT) and Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT) have managed to make it to the top-1000 list.

This ranking is considered to be the biggest evaluation of the education and research world. The list of top-1000 universities and educational institutions is released every year by QS World Universities.

The 20th edition of the most respected international university rankings has been released by QS World Universities, the leading global higher education analyst. Under this, academic reputation, employer reputation, student-teacher ratio, research work, international teacher and student ratio are assessed.

Only after this the ranking is released. This time 148 institutions of the country have made it to the world-class ranking. Allahabad University has been ranked in the 701-750 ranking band in Asia. Got 6.6 marks in academic reputation, 17.7 in citation per paper, 1.7 in employer reputation, 1.3 in student-teacher ratio and 2.3 in international research work. The university has been ranked in the 86-90 ranking band in the country.
