After Laying The Cornerstone For Sant Ravidas Temple, Modi Said, “Today Dalits & Tribals Are Getting The Respect They Deserved”

PM Modi also dedicated the country and laid the cornerstone for projects in the rail and road sectors totaling more than 4,000 crores during the event.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi asserted on Saturday that his administration places a priority on the care of the underprivileged and the empowerment of all social groups, and that Dalits, backward people, and tribal people are now receiving the respect they deserve.

After doing Bhoomi Poojan at Sant Shiromani Gurudev Shri Ravidas Memorial Sthal in Madhya Pradesh’s Sagar district, the prime minister spoke. Over 100 crores will be spent on this memorial’s construction.

PM Modi also dedicated the country and laid the cornerstone for projects in the rail and road sectors totaling more than 4,000 crores during the event. PM Modi mentioned several Central government initiatives for tribal people and other underdeveloped societies in his speech.

“A temple was renovated in Banaras, the city where Sant Ravidas Ji was born. I was given the opportunity to go to the event. The Global Steel Park, which is being constructed  in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, is also named after Saint Ravidas Ji. According to PM Modi, we have also volunteered to construct significant locations connected to Babasaheb’s life as Panch Teerth.

In the same way, museums are currently being constructed across various parts of the nation in an effort to preserve the illustrious past of tribal societies. “(Our government) established the custom of celebrating Birsa Munda’s birthday as Janjatiya Gaurav Divas,” he continued.

The Habibganj railway station in this city was named after Gond woman Rani Kamalapati, the prime minister also noted. “The station of Patalpani is also named after Tantya Mama,” he added, adding that Dalits, backward people, and tribal people are now receiving the recognition they deserve for the first time in the nation.
