For nearly three decades, the Adani Foundation has been committed to women’s empowerment. Since 1996, the Foundation has implemented a series of targeted interventions that cater to the unique needs of women at all stages, from infancy to old age.
These efforts ensure that women receive continuous support, fostering socio-economic well-being and enhancing their opportunities for growth.
Rather than focusing on charitable distributions, the Foundation emphasizes long-term outcomes through initiatives in education, nutrition, health security, skill-building, and self-reliance.
By promoting economic activity and providing opportunities for sustainable livelihoods, the Foundation catalyzes transformation for women, empowering them to make informed choices for themselves and their families.
The ‘Butterfly Effect’ framework represents this holistic approach by addressing the needs of women throughout different life stages.
From early childhood and adolescence to young adulthood, middle age, and old age, the framework ensures that women receive support at every point in their journey, promoting their growth, self-reliance, and well-being.
During the roundtable, the Adani Foundation also released its ‘Supporting Her Exponential Empowerment (S.H.E.)’ report.
This detailed document highlights the Foundation’s ongoing efforts to empower women at every stage of life. It emphasizes the holistic nature of the Foundation’s interventions and their impact on women across the country.
Dr. Abhishek Lakhtakia, Chief Executive Officer of the Adani Foundation, reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to women’s empowerment. Through its transformative initiatives, the Adani Foundation continues to drive inclusive, sustainable, and transformative change in the lives of women. To date, the Foundation has positively impacted the lives of over 2 million girls and women through its dedicated efforts.
