Adani Foundation Hosts National Roundtable On Women’s Empowerment Ahead Of International Women’s Day

In anticipation of International Women’s Day, the Adani Foundation organized the first national-level roundtable discussion in New Delhi to explore new strategies for advancing women’s empowerment across India.

The event gathered key stakeholders to discuss how to accelerate the push for women’s socio-economic empowerment and address the evolving needs of women at different life stages.

A Vision For Women’s Holistic Empowerment

The roundtable served as a significant platform to expand the impact of women-centric initiatives and foster new collaborations to improve the lives of women across India.

As part of this effort, the Foundation unveiled its ‘Butterfly Effect’ framework, which aims to empower women by addressing their changing needs throughout various life stages. The initiative aligns with the Foundation’s broader vision of self-reliance, independence, and economic opportunity for women.

Since 1996, the Adani Foundation has dedicated itself to women’s empowerment by launching several initiatives targeted at different stages of a woman’s life, including infancy, adolescence, youth, middle age, and old age. Through these initiatives, the Foundation strives to provide equal opportunities and improve the quality of life for women across the nation.

Commitment To Self-Reliance And Development

The Foundation’s mission is clear: to empower women by enhancing their access to education, healthcare, skill-building, and long-term economic opportunities.

By focusing on key areas such as health, education, sustainable livelihoods, and infrastructure development, the Foundation aims to foster women’s independence and enable them to make meaningful choices for themselves and their families.

The ‘Butterfly Effect’ framework is a reflection of this holistic approach, with women at the center of all programs. The framework further promotes women’s self-reliance, development, and overall well-being across different life stages, empowering them to make lasting, positive changes in their lives.

Unveiling The S.H.E. Report

During the roundtable, the Adani Foundation also released its ‘Supporting Her Exponential Empowerment’ (S.H.E.) Report. The report outlines the Foundation’s ongoing efforts to empower women, showcasing the impact of its holistic approach in transforming women’s lives across India.

Meanwhile, the S.H.E. Report highlights how the Foundation’s initiatives are creating tangible, lasting change for women and advancing gender equality at a national level.
