Adani Total Energies E-Mobility Limited (ATEL) and MG Motor India have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance India’s EV charging infrastructure. This collaboration aims to develop charging solutions and value-added services for MG’s EV customers nationwide, supporting the country’s burgeoning EV ecosystem.
Under the agreement, ATEL will deploy CC2 60kW DC chargers at MG dealerships to expand the charging network and improve customer accessibility. The partnership encompasses end-to-end services, including supply, installation, commissioning, operations, and maintenance of charging infrastructure. Additionally, a digital platform will be introduced to ensure a seamless customer experience, offering features like discovery, user authentication, charging, and billing settlement through a dedicated mobile application.
Furthermore, both companies will explore opportunities to integrate public charging stations available on each other’s platforms using modern Application Programming Interface (API). This initiative aims to simplify access to the Public Charging Station Network (PCS Network) for users.
Gaurav Gupta, Chief Growth Officer at MG Motor India, expressed the company’s commitment to carbon neutrality, sustainability, and green mobility. The partnership with Adani TotalEnergies E-Mobility Limited underscores MG’s dedication to accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles in India and driving transformation in the EV sector through robust charging infrastructure.

Additionally, the collaboration will enhance the customer experience for MG users, providing RFID solutions at strategic locations across ATEL’s public charging network, particularly at airports. MG users will benefit from RFID cards through bulk purchase arrangements, offering substantial discounts.
